format+ is the student's online magazine of the University of Art and Design in Schwäbisch Gmünd. Multimedia, photo, video, audio and text contributions are published every two weeks. We are a team from different semesters and study programmes at the HfG in Schwäbisch Gmünd.
I was part of the format+, the online magazine of the HfG in Schwäbisch Gmünd. Together, we are an interdisciplinary team of students and published design-relevant articles in various formats on our website. I led the team from the beginning of the second semester together with Sandy Kübler till the end of the fourth semester. As the leadership, we were the final authority of the team, the contact persons for all official matters with the university, and also took care of the finances. The leadership regularly informed itself about what was happening in the teams and knew what was happening in the teams. The team meetings and editorial meetings of format+ were prepared and moderated by the management. She had a veto right when it came to important decisions - but she always took into account the opinion of all team members. To ensure the quality of the magazine, the management had the task of consciously steering the direction of the content and design.
